7 Feite!

1. Ek is en bly steeds n “gebore” Suid Afrikaner al is ek in Nederland gebore en het met my ouers ge-immigreer toe ek 6 was.

2. Na 55 jaar in Suid Afrika is ek weer verplant in n nuwe omgewing wat seker maar my tuiste gaan wees tot die einde.

3. Ek mis die lewe en mense in Suid Afrika baie, tog het my nuwe lewe hier ook baie mooi dinge reeds opgelewer.

4. My liefde vir my hond Trompie is so intens dat ek party dae nie kan glo mens kan so verknog raak aan n dier nie.

5. Dan het ek so 3 jaar terug die pen opgeneem en begin om my kinderjare op te teken. Ek het hierdie jaar n bundeltjie saamgestel met fotos en al oor my  kinderjare. Ek doen die skrywery met n paar goeie “vriende” in die plaaslike biblioteek elke Vrydag, onder leiding van n 90 jarige oud onderwyseres

6. Al my meubels en huis inhoud is tweede hands omdat ek nie nuwes kan bekostig nie. Selfs my klere is tweede hands. My motor is  n amper gedane ou Nissan wat op genade ry.

7. Grootste dankbaarheid wat ek het is dat ek naby my seun kan bly. Ons geniet mekaar nog steeds baie al gaan dit party dae maar knorrig en kort van draad. .As dit nie vir hom was nie sou ek nie hier kon oorleef nie!

Nou moet ek 15 blogs nommineer wat vir my n kopseer is. Ek is nie n gereelde blogger wat op almal kommentaar lewer nie. Die wat ek volg is reeds benoem.

To be with my human mother and just play and play, and hand out all my love

This is my mum: She belongs to Time Bank. This is work you do for others without payment. You pay with your time and you can ask time bank people to do things for you using their time. She also cooks meals for toddlers whose moms are not capable to feed them well. The mothers are school going  girls who still need to go to school.

3) What is the first item on your bucket list?

No bucket list

4) What is your personal life philosophy?

Live and let live. Don’t hurt living things.

5) If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be?

Have more time with my late husband. Getting to know him better.

6) What is the most important life lesson you have for your child/children? If you don’t have children, what is the most important life lesson you’ve learned and who did you learn it from?

Don’t waste time on gossip. If you do something do it the best you can and then let go.

7) What is your favorite quote?

Philippians 4 : 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.

Would love to go to Israel, Egypt and maybe China

My pet in real life is Trompie and he for sure is my best pal, friend and buddy. I can’t believe that I could love a pet that much as I do Trompie. I think it must be because I am retired and have more time to be with him.

11) In what do you find the simplest of joys?

Just looking at Trompie , how he tells me what he wants me to do when he plays or barks.
