Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Water

Your photographs can be straight out of the camera or edited in Photoshop or other software.  I’m excited to see everyone’s photography.

How It Works?

  1. Most weeks I will come up with a topic and along with a tip on how to take a better photo.  Feel free to write me with things you want to learn about.
  2. Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo!
  3. Please keep your photos to only three or less per week.
  4. ENJOY and have FUN.

Travel Theme: Silhouette

Our travel theme this week is

SILHOUETTE

This is again the Victoria Waterfall With its rainbow and

SILHOUETTE

of the trees in the front.

It fascinates me how a silhouette; a two-dimensional outline of a person or object, can suggest a story just as clearly as if you could see the scene in its entirety. Perhaps it makes our imagination work overtime, trying to fill in the details we cannot see. I would love to see your interpretation of this theme, so if you would like to join in, create your own post, title it Travel Theme: Silhouette and put a link to this page in your post so others can find it easily. 52 Pick Up: Week 34 Water

 

While I am “working” with water photos I may as well pull it through to my other posts as well for this week.

The theme for 52 Pick Up week 34 is                                WATER

The following photos were taken in Zimbabwe 2010

Water bath for birds.

Swimming pool for human beings.

And then the mighty Victoria Waterfall

This is a mighty stream of water!

Should you wish to join me in this challenge, here are the rules:

  1. The theme begins on Sunday and at least one image on the theme must be posted by the following Saturday.
  2. Images can be captured on my Digital SLR, point-and-shoot or even the phone on my camera.
  3. Each image must be taken during the theme week. No scrounging back through last year’s photos for “a good one”. That would be cheating and the challenge is about taking new photos with new inspiration!
  4. Images are allowed to be post processed. I shoot in RAW and use Photoshop Elements 9.0 for post processing. My favourite actions come from Pure Photoshop Actions, Paint the Moon and MCP Actions. If you haven’t checked them out yet you should. They both offer freebies to give you a taste of how their products work.
