STOKPERDJIES

vorm n groot deel van my lewe.

Ek het vele projekte al voltooi.

-enige-iets wat met handvaardigheid te doen het is vir my soos n stokperdjie.

Honde- en melkbokteler was van my eerste stokperdjies.

My Alaskan Malamute wat ek geskou het!

Trompie wat ek nou net as troetel het maar hy laat my daagliks loop,

wat my stokperdjie is.

Dieregedrag, veral honde, is my stokperdjie

Wat lees mens in die houding?

Dan kom fotografie waarvan ek ook  baie hou.

 n Wye verskeidenheid van handvaardighede!

My eerste hand gekwilte kwilt.

Daarna honderde kwilte vir kunsmarkte.

Serpe gebrei vir kunsmark

vele truie het ook uit my hand gekom

Het nie baie daarvan gehou nie.

Dis te harde werk

Geurtjie houer in badkamer

Enige vlyt met papier

Moes vir die samestelling verskillende papier tegnieke gebruik om die voorstelling te maak

Dit in n neutedop is stokperdjies wat ek beoefen.

Seelversamel , patrone vir brei, hekel en enige interessante artikels in plakboeke,

resepte.

Nee wat, hoe meer ek dink hoe meer kry ek.

Dis noudat ek afgetree het alles stokperdjies.

Quilt Festival

Last week the weather was really not good for an outside Festival!

Today was the best day for it.

It is “steaming”hot here today.

I had to put on a lot of sun screen and then also my hat.

There were many beautiful quilts again.

I think the day was/is a great success again.

Table runner for the Sawmiller’s Quilt Festival

Yesterday i decided I’ll make a runner for the competition.

You must use at least one  Sawtooth block.

Measurements of runner: 105cm x 43cm.

Shop hop quilt in the making!

I started cutting out my shop hop quilt just before Christmas.

Put away everything till after New Year(that’s what I thought)

Just after Christmas I put my machine ready.

Well I started sewing on Monday the 30/12/2013!

Today I finished off the middle square!

Go to the bottom and top

There we are!

Still need to make 4 corners with Dresden Plate design!

 

Last Quilt finished!

I made it, my deadline was today.

The lady who ordered 3 king single quilts picked up the last one this afternoon!

Now I am going to relax a bit till next year.

I have been sewing my bud off end of last week

and this week.

I finished this quilt today and the lady

came to pick it up this afternoon.

She also bought my music quilt.

I still have to make her third quilt this coming weekend.

It is going to be a red and white star quilt!!

Woohoo! Mystery quilt finished!

Wow, my mystery quilt’s top is finished.

I still need to do the backing and binding.

I started getting pieces to piece together since March.

For ten months I stitched my different pieces together.

Yesterday I started to put the pieces together

Today I did the borders and here it is.

The market was not so good as last year.

I I am still happy with my sales.
