Wellington, an awesome visit no1

It has been another busy week in the

Scrapydo camp.

We (that is my student and I) went on some

School Activities on Thursday!

The International students had to visit at least 5 interesting places in and around Wellington.

The week between the two long weekend was horrible weather wise.

Wednesday and Thursday were two better days.

Wednesday we went to the beach at Petone.

We first visited the Learning Connection.

A place where you can do anything crafty.

We met a dog there and I had to taken photos of it.

It had one blue and one brown eye.

Then we went on to the SEA!

Did you see what she did?

And what are you going to do about it!?

( Molly was really rushing up and down the chairs,in and out the door.

Trompie sat down and gave me this look!)

Sport and Action !

My photography  lesson or session was about

photographing action in sport.

For two weeks the weather did not want to give way.

Yesterday I went out –

come rain come snow and

did some photographing at our new sports fields

here in Upper Hutt.

It was only younger or still primary school games but

it gave me lots of  action photos!

I hope you enjoy them with me.

Some SOCCER Photos

I know some players are running out of the photo

doesn’t really matter to me. I at least tried to take photos.

Some  SKATE BOARD/BIKE riders

Here I took many “empty” photos.

They were just too fast or I was always too slow!

November 13 and post no 400! Big thank you to all the people and their challenges.

Today November 13, 2012 I am posting post no 400.

I started blogging February 18, 2012 and I am still working on it. At first I thought I’ll never get into it. It feels sometimes a waste of time to sit and do all this sorting and writing and answering, at the end I am happy that I kept on going.

If it had not been for all the challenges I would have ended my blogging long ago.

I want to thank the following people and posts for their challenges that helped me completing 400 posts in about 9 months time.

I am giving all these beautiful people a rose today.

You all inspired me every time to go on with my posts.

Thank you again.

52 Pick up: Looking in

Should you wish to join me in this challenge, here are the rules:

  1. The theme begins on Sunday and at least one image on the theme must be posted by the following Saturday.
  2. Images can be captured on my Digital SLR, point-and-shoot or even the phone on my camera.
  3. Each image must be taken during the theme week. No scrounging back through last year’s photos for “a good one”. That would be cheating and the challenge is about taking new photos with new inspiration!
  4. Images are allowed to be post processed. I shoot in RAW and use Photoshop Elements 9.0 for post processing. My favourite actions come from Paint the Moon and MCP Actions. If you haven’t checked them out yet you should. They both offer freebies to give you a taste of how their products work.
Each week I will post the challenge.  If you are participating, add a link to the photo you have taken in the comment section of that post.
