The last Pet Challenge Luigi was
dog tired.
Today poor Luigi has to be locked up in a cage
(going to be for six weeks!!!!!!)
because he has broken his one front leg last Sunday while out
chasing the ducks at the duck pond!
He was in hospital since Sunday afternoon till Wednesday.
His leg is broken at two places and they had to put in a plate to keep it straight.
He has also nearly torn off his dew -claw on his other front leg.
The vet has also taken off both dew -claws.
Thursday Luigi went to work with my son’s partner.
Early Friday morning
Phone call:
Mum, could you PLEASE look after Luigi today?
Little buddy stayed with me for the day.
He is such a sweet, good boy.
No complaints!
While Luigi had to be quiet in his cage
Molly and Trompie enjoyed themselves .

Poor Luigi – he is a brave little pup! My mutt tore a dewclaw in the garden this fall and chewed most of it off (the vet removed what was hanging off but managed to save it)… must say that Trompie and Molly look as if they are gloating a bit…
Yes, the whole situation was a bit unfair!

Ahhh, it’s not fair being laid up and having to watch other pooches at play!
He is okay with not playing. He is a grumpy old man anyway. Trompie and Molly are the wild ones, he usually just looks at them while they are going wild. Molly is really rough she goes for it and Trompie is just going along
Luigi probably feels that he isn’t really grumpy, it’s just that the ‘young ones’ are so ‘excitable and silly’ these days.

Exactly, he would start the play and then just sits and be a spectator at the games! 🙂

Me too, 6 weeks in a crate isn’t going to be much fun
Awwww shame, the poor darling. I hope he recover soon so he can have fun with Trompie and Molly again. They are so adorable. 😀
He can’t wait to get out of the crate! Still many days to go!
