About 6 weeks without a drop of rain. On Friday Wellington council said there was only enough drinking water for about 20 days left in the storage dam. The more northern parts are dry since January. Those are the parts with the most farmlands. No watering of gardens or washing cars, nothing. Luckily We got some good rain yesterday for the whole day! But sadly the weather report says clear today up to at least Sunday. Problem is it is very hot too and that makes it worse
Ja, daar is natuurlik dele wat regtig nodig het wat nog nie rerig reen gekry het nie. Veral die melkboere sukkel regtig om te voer en nog genoeg te lewer ook.
Wow! It does look very dry there! Hopefully, you’ll get some rain soon!

Thanks for the visit! We had some good rain yesterday – hopefully we’ll get some more because we depend on the rivers here
For how long have you been experiencing drought?
