Peace.

Ailsa gives us every week a challenge to take part in for the week.

This week’s theme is     WHITE

I got married August 30, 1980.

After the wedding we drove to my flat in Potgietersrus.

One of my best friends put a bottle of champagne

and these two white doves on the table.

I am so glad I have taken a photo of them because

I don’t have them anymore.

I gave away most of my smaller things before moving to New Zealand.

Doves as symbols

Doves, usually meaning domesticated Rock Pigeons, are a traditional Christian symbol of love and peace,

    • I agree, I brought only a few of my really valuable things over. These doves are in the hand of another married couple. Sadly the lady’s husband died in a car crash a few years ago.
