This weeks Tuesday Photo Challenge for A – Z Archive is the letter Y
My letter Y stands for Yorkshire Terrier
This is Luigi.
He is the most adorable dog.
Very clever and knows exactly what to say when he wants something!
There is also his friend Molly.
(Not that Luigi likes her that much, she is way too obtrusive.)
The Yorkshire Terrier is a small dog breed of terrier type, developed in the 19th century in the county of Yorkshire, England to catch rats in clothing mills. The defining features of the breed are its size, 3 pounds (1.4 kg) to 7 pounds (3.2 kg), and its silky blue and tan coat. The breed is nicknamed Yorkie and is placed in the Toy Terrier section of the Terrier Group by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale and in the Toy Group or Companion Group by other kennel clubs, although all agree that the breed is a terrier. A popularcompanion dog, the Yorkshire Terrier has also been part of the development of other breeds, such as the Australian Silky Terrier.
cute
Hul is oulik! Het vanoggend ou Molla afgeneem omdat ek nog niks van haar het nie.
Oh they are such cute dogs. There are two down the street and I love stopping to say hi.
Clever little fellows! They are my son’s two dogies
and sometimes even with green eyes!
I know! It is so rainy and dark and I did not have a photo of Molly. I had to quickly take one. She also did not want her photo taken!
Too cute! I love the first photo.
That is how we, human beings make them look! All dressed up and groomed. It’s hard work to keep them neat especially in winter time.
Their eyes look amazing!
Yes they do. You can’t help taking photos of them
