these old cutlery windchimes are fascinating, great to see everyday things made into art 🙂
Yes, I saw this one at a craft market and could not resist buying it. Gives my joy when it chimes!
WIND CHIME – Made from old silver cutlery: do the spoons and forkes sound well when wind comes to town?
Yes, tinkling sound. We have a lot of wind here. Wellington is known as the windy city!
Love the wind chime – it is really quite beautiful
Thanks, it has a beautiful sound when the wind moves it around. I also have a bamboo one with deep sound
Must make beautiful music 🙂
Yes it does, I also have n small wooden one outside. Think I may as well take photos of them and put in a post.
Please do – I would like to see them
I’ll do, just wait till the sun is shining again. We have horrible winter weather. Last night a lot of rain, wind and some thunder also. South Island got its first heavy snow last night. Weather is expected to move nearer to North Island. There was some flooding near Wellington
Did not realise they have snow in NZ
Yes, Inland, and top of hills have snow during winter. Wellington is very low – at sea level that is why we do not easily get snow. Mostly up to 300meters and up. South Island has these winter snow resorts. We are very near Anarctica
Now that makes sense 🙂
I’ve always liked wind chimes but never had any. Maybe I should fix that problem.
You won’t be sorry if you do. You first have to listen to which sound isn’t too irritating to your ears. Some of their sounds I can’t take, they can hurt your ears.
This is nice! What a unique windchime. I like it. 🙂
It really is something different. Die sound of it is also different. Thanks for the visit
Excellent work 🙂
Thanks JakesI love your work also. It is really outstanding
