Ruth Wyand : blues and Jazz FingerStyle Guitar

Yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to Ruth Wyand for an hour in our Library.

The local library here tries to attract as many people as they can by having all kinds of interesting programmes. Yesterday was no exception.

Ruth Wyand gave us an hour gig of what she does for a living. It was really awesome to listen to her. I am not a real blues and jazz fan but the way Ruth played and sang made an impression on me. I”ll listen to her again.

Ruth sang one of her own songsย There’s always up when you’re down. ( very true)

John Sutherland a local acoustic artist also performed some songs. Here he is

Her guitar shows that it has been used a lot. It has also traveled to many places

  1. I love going to programs at the library – I often get to hear/see new things. Though I must admit it is often children’s programs that I go to ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Yes you are still in a children’s program stage! I am now in my adult program stage and enjoy it so much that I sometimes wish for more daytime hours in a day! While I was working in a library I had to do the children’s programs. I always loved to look at those small faces lighting up and enjoying themselves.
